The coalition also opposes Council member Willis’ prominent support for abandoning Dallas City Hall. The rushed and secretive proposal has advanced without adequate transparency or meaningful public engagement despite widespread public concern expressed through the citywide Save Dallas City Hall movement.
Similar local concerns have surfaced in Bluffview, Northpark and other District 13 neighborhoods, further strengthening the coalition.
Melshire Estates
Melshire Park in Melshire Estates is a high-density townhome-like development on Forest Lane that was approved by Willis over unified neighborhood opposition five years ago. She is now willing to give more concessions to the developer in violation of what was previously approved.
